Leonard Bügel is an IT Administration Assistant and is enrolled at the TU Dresden since 2019, where he studies Computer Science for his bachelor’s degree. His main responsibility involves help desk related tasks. However, he also creates applications that make Lipotyper’s lives and works easier and faster.

Although he used to have a variety of hobbies, including playing flute and fencing, it all changed five years ago. Just like other programmers, he started coding with “Hello, World”, and this one greeting to the world changed his life entirely. Now coding became his biggest interest, his hobby, and specialty, filling most of his waking hours. (NOTE: there’s no guarantee he doesn’t even think about coding while he sleeps.) Also, those who ask him “what did you do last weekend?” can listen to his hour-long lecture on 3D engines, halfedge datastructures, and computer graphics. To the question “What is left after subtracting the coding from you?”, he had to think 5 min and answered, “Good question.”

Leonard likes the relaxed and flexible atmosphere of the Lipotype. He said he is also satisfied with the experience and opportunity to do what he wants.
