Lipotype Lipidomics
Lipids are a diverse group of molecules that include sterols, triglycerides, phospholipids, ceramides, and many more. Lipidomics is the systematic study of lipid molecules in cells, tissues, and body fluids to understand how lipids are involved in biological processes, metabolism, and disease mechanisms.
We at Lipotype provide service to the research community to analyze and understand what lipids are about.
They play an important role in regulating health and disease and therefore are key to prevention, diagnosis and drug development as well as for new cosmetic products and healthier food.
