Dr. Grzegorz Chwastek holds PhD in membrane biochemistry. He has extensive experience working on various aspects of lipids including drug carriers, lipid-protein interactions, and membrane biophysics. As a product manager, he shapes Lipotype’s portfolio to match the needs of our customers. Before joining Lipotype, Grzegorz gathered international experience working on various lipid-related problems in Munich, Warsaw, Córdoba, and Berlin and finally he joined the group of James Sáenz at B CUBE institute of TU Dresden.

Grzegorz’s free time is filled with two things: Argentinian Tango and running (aside from spending time with his lovely daughter). He is an avid runner who participates in the 100km duathlon once a year with his friends, for which he wakes up at 6 AM to train before he goes to work. He is energetic himself and always energizes his colleagues with a positive vibe. Around 3:00 PM, you can see Grzegorz wandering around the Lipotype office to cool off and refresh his mind (fortunately, he doesn’t run or dance the tango inside the office for this).

He picked “When Oliver, the COO, smiled while holding the prototype of a new product which I put together with Jule and Christian” as his most memorable moment while working at Lipotype.
